Ignorance Is The Enemy Of A Muslim Woman, part 1
Ignorance in muslim women has proved to be one of the main factors of deterioration of the muslim society, the ignorance that is meant here is ignorance about the shariaa and the deen (religion) of ALLAH.
Ignorance has been the cause of innovations in worshiping ALLAH, Ignorance has been the cause of marital problems, Ignorance has been the cause of social problems, Ignorance has been the cause of living a miserable and confused life, Ignorance is the one that introduced false ideologies into our communities and made us lose the sweetness of performing acts of worship, Ignorance has made us transgress the rights of ALLAH, his messenger, and the people.
Ignorance is the most dangerous enemy to muslim women and muslim men as well, for this purpose learning is one of the essentials of islam and is something that ALLAH has made obligatory upon us. ALLAH has commanded the mothers of the believers in the QURAN saying: "and recall that which gets narrated in your homes from the signs of ALLAH (QURAN) and the wisdom (SUNNA of the prophet)".
It is compulsory on muslim women and muslim men to learn the deen of ALLAH and they are both equally responsible.
A woman came to the prophet (may peace and blessings be upon him) seeking knoweldge and said: O' messenger of ALLAH, the men have taken all of your narrations, make for us a day that we can come to you to teach us from what ALLAH has taught you. The messenger of ALLAH (may peace and blessings be upon him) said: gather on such and such day at such and such place, then the prophet (may peace and blessing be upon him) came and taught them what ALLAH has taught him.

A Muslim Woman Gets $400,000 In A Death Threat Case.
The Washoe County School District in nevada agreed to pay Jana Elhifny $400,000.
Jana Elhifny was a freshman student at North Valleys High School, where she received death threats from fellow students for wearing her religious headscarf.
Jana Elhifny informed teachers and administrators about the death threats but unfortunately they have taken no action to address the matter, jana dropped out of the school, filed a lawsuit and left the country.
Stephanie Hart also a former student at North Valleys High School was ostracized for being the friend of a muslim woman who wears a religious headscarf, she will also get $50,000 as a settlement for her civil case.
"The district did an incredibly thorough investigation," Cox told FOXNews.com in a phone interview. "They could never identify the person who perpetrated these acts. ... The district did everything it could do to try to help this young woman who is an Egyptian and of the Islam faith."
It's interesting to see that the school district sounded very confident in their investigation and findings, yet agreed to pay $400,000 to settle the case.

Is It Lawful For The Muslim Woman To Cut Her Hair ?
Cutting the abundant hair for the muslim woman is lawful if it is intended to reduce it, as it was reported that the wives of the prophet (may peace and blessings be upon him) have cut their hair to reduce it after his death, so it is lawful to do it for that particular intent not trying to resemble men or what the disbelievers do in fashion.

A Question About Shaking Hands.
A sister asked: is it lawful to shake the hands of men that are not a Mahram knowing that traditionally there, men stand up for women out of respect and shake their hand ?
It is not lawful for a woman to shake the hand of a man that is not a Mahram to her and it is not lawful for a man to shake the hand of a woman who is not a Mahram to him because touching the skin of a woman that is not a Mahram is Haram, it is like gazing or worse in terms of Fitna, but if the woman is from his acquaintance and he shaked her hand through an object that blocks skin contact, there is no harm in that, but if they fear the Fitna, he should not do so even with a blocking object and to resume this: a man shaking the hand of women that are a Mahram to him is lawful and shaking the hand of women who are not a Mahram even if they are an acquaintance is Haram except through a blocking object with making sure that no Fitna could arise from that.

The Jurisprudence Of Marriage In The Light Of The Quran And The Sunna By Dr Salih Ibn Ghanim Asadlan, Introdution 2.
All praises due to ALLAH and may peace and blessings be upon whom there is no prophet after, on his family, pious predecessors and on those who follow him until the day of judgement.
As to what follows:
There was an era of time when the woman had no stability nor tranquility, she was subdued, oppressed, with no rights or confident will.
The roman husband had the authority to sentence her to death, the Greek husband viewed her just a property of his, the Jew humiliated her considering her an impurity, while the christian was confused whether she is a human being or just a soul, and the ignorant Arab would bury her and be pessimistic about her aura.
After all these trials, tribulations and suffering the woman endured throughout the ages, Islam rises and shines its light on these dark oppressions, establishing the balance of justice and giving the woman her full rights, raising off of her the burden of humiliation, granting her equal status as a human being, giving her qualification to full social and civil rights, protecting her from the misuse of lusts and the trials of enjoying her body in an animalistic fashion, finally making her an effective member and participator in constructing and advancing societies.
From the main pillars of elevating the woman and giving her full rights in Islam, the rights she has upon her husband and the rights her husband has upon her. From these rights, the Mahr (dowry) which is her private possession and her right that is intended to honor, elevate and make her happy. And it doesn't mean that the woman is a merchandise with a price attached to it, on the contrary it is a way to elevate her status and deepen the love and mercy she feels, keeping also in mind the nature of the woman in wanting nice things to be offered to her especially from the person that is soon going to be her life partner.
For all these noble reasons the Mahr (dowry) was prescribed and from its traits, was ease and availability in the society regardless of time and place, but when Iman has grown weak and the practices of customs and traditions has become widely spread, people innovated and introduced matters that have no basis in Islam.
From these innovations, what happens in the stages before the marriage, such as sitting alone without a mahram with the fiancee, the high costs of the mahr (dowry) and wedding expenses that cause social problems and financial hardships that could result in canceling the marriage all together.
From these innovations also, the wasting and extravagance that go on during weddings, the unlawful practices such as music and dancing, and the unislamic customs such as the honeymoon.
The reader will find in this book with the help of ALLAH the almighty, all these matters dealt with from the light of the QURAN and the SUNNA, and the sayings of scholars from the past and present with proofs and clarifications of stronger positions and why they are so.
The book chapters will be as follows:
The mahr (dowry).
The announcement of the neekah (marriage).
The Walima (marriage banquet)
The congratulations for the marriage.
Warning and Treatment.
Etiquette of the night of the wedding.

Profiles Of Diamonds: The Story Of Meriem (the virgin mary) Part 2.
To hun'a great surprise the born child was a female, and she has already vowed what's in her womb to ALLAH to be of service to AL QODS (Jerusalem). Huna turned to ALLAH the almighty saying "O' ALLAH i have given birth to a female and i have named her meriem (the virgin Mary)", which meant a worshiping woman and she seeked refuge in ALLAH for her as well as her offspring from the shaytan (Satan). Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings be upon him) said that all children are touched by the shaytan at their birth except Meriem (the virgin Mary) and her son Issa (Jesus).
Fulfilling her vow to ALLAH, Huna took Meriem (the virgin Mary) to AL QODS to present her to the worshipers of the children of Israel who instantly welcomed her with great honor because she was the daughter of their imam IMRAN. They were all debating who will have the privilege to watch over and take care of her. Finally she was given to ZAKARIA the prophet of the children of Israel, due to him being the husband of her sister.
When ZAKARIA used to enter to check on Meriem (the virgin Mary), he would always find foods and fruits that are not from the current season, prepared and served in a fashion that is beyond a human being's ability and so he would ask O' Meriem (the virgin Mary) who sends you this food and prepares it in this fashion, she would respond: "it has all come from ALLAH the almighty, he sustains who he wishes with with no account". Meriem (the virgin Mary) has lived as a pure and righteous woman in the company of Prophethood. ALLAH has chosen Meriem (the virgin Mary) and favored her over all women in the world, ALLAH says in the QURAN: " And the angels said, verily ALLAH has chosen you, purified and favored you over all the women of the world"
